eternity in my heart.

eternity in my heart.

I live with eternity in my heart.

Sometimes it’s so real I can touch it.

Sometimes it’s so very far away.

No matter what it feels like, I remain constant in what I believe – the promise of eternity with God in Heaven.

Death came early for so many in other times and places. How did they manage? Did they see something we don’t see much these days?

All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.

-The Bible

I am comforted when I remember there will be a day when God will make everything right.  When tears and pain and grieving and death are gone forever.

And we will be reunited with those we love who died too soon.

How can you live without this hope?

deliver us from evil.

deliver us from evil.

Evil exists in a broken world.

Accidents happen.

People get sick.

Tires go flat.

Houses catch on fire.

We relish in the good – and so we should.

But sometimes, evil can shadow the good and we forget the good is there.

There is only one who can redeem the atrocities in our lives. God.      hopehely-snowflake_l

The Bible tells us he is compassionate and merciful. His love is so great that he died for the world because evil kept him at a distance.

Does his love stop there? No. It continues on and on and on.

And often, God shows he is with us when he surprises us with comfort when snowflakes fall gently upon the earth.

All around us is God’s presence.

Be comforted.
