Joy isn’t happiness.

Happiness is dependent upon a good day.

Joy is a steady flame that never goes out. Even on a bad day.

Joy trusts God with everything.

Not every mother is honored and the pain goes deep.

When Mother’s Day is celebrated, some mothers feel alone.

Life can be very hard. But it can be very good, too. Think about the good and be thankful.

God sees your sorrow. Let him help you. He loves you.

Two sparrows are sold for a penny, aren’t they?

Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s permission.

-The Bible

God’s permission.

He sees all. He knows all.

I used to worry. I think most people do in varying degrees.

Worrying can be painful. Living anxiously is not good for you.

You can’t stop worrying just because people tell you to stop. Even if it’s Jesus.

Why do you worry about clothing? Think about how the flowers of the field grow; they do not work or spin.

But eventually, what Jesus said will make sense.

Life is unpredictable There will be a time when you have to believe in someone bigger than yourself. And I have personally found that in moments of great anguish, God keeps you from drowning in the pain.

You have to put the past, present, and future somewhere. We are too finite to carry infinite situations.

God wants you to trust him. Rest is the opposite of worry. And that’s what God wants for you.

As long as you’re alive, you can start over.

Isn’t it amazing how trees…100, 200 years old and more…continually bud each spring?

It’s indicative of the Creator who has revealed himself through nature. And he tells us it’s the same for us.
