What does it mean to know God? Can one know God?
For centuries, religion has made God seem distant and mysterious. But when you read the Bible, you find that God tells us he is very near to us. That’s good news, especially for people who are hurting.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34
If you have only known God to be unreachable, detached, distant, or mysterious, today is your day to know He is not any of those things.
You can know all about Him.
Just ask him.

The verse you shared today has been dear to my heart since my father passed away unexpectedly six and a half months ago. It’s amazing to me to discover God really is there in the deepest, darkest places of my life, perhaps nearer than anywhere else.
Paige, I have found that as painful as those moments are in our life, that is when our world is silenced and we feel God’s presence the greatest. That’s God working all things together for our good and we learn to trust him.
